 Calicanto and Filarmonia Veneta

The production, conceived by the composer Carlo De Pirro (1956-2008), that sees Calicanto and Filarmonia Veneta Orchestra directed by M.o Antonio Pessetto on stage, will be one of the main events in 2010 artistic season of Calicanto.

The concert will be presented probably on early 2010, and will involve 50 classical musician and the folk band Calicanto, playing the mostbeatiful tunes taken from Calicanto's repertoire and re-arranged by the composer Gian Luca BAldi for the occasion. The project is sponsored by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo gor the music.

The project, through the work of composer Gian Luca Baldi, wants to bring the folk repertoire of Venetian area to the classical audience with a fol band an a classical orchestra on stage.
